Shadowbox: If the crop wasn't so tight.. so you could get context from the rest of the picture (i.e. Swingset, playground equipment, etc..) this would be a much better shot.

Shot this one yesterday with A Vivitar 20/3.5. I think it works other than for the flair. Hood on order.

Ron.. try that one in contrasty B&W? That would give it a different feel that I think would work.... maybe a full frame vertical crop also, with subject on left 3rds line, or in the left 3rd?

I did crop it in because I didn't like the chainlink fence and pile of firewood in the background. Maybe I will try it zoomed out and see.

This little girl was the cutest thing. She was learning how to fly her little plane and when it crashed, she would "fly" over to go get it. I tried to capture that in this image.

Flying girl works for me. Very saturated colour maybe overdone.

I realize the editing may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it is what I wanted for the pic. I printed it and it came out really nicely, I think my monitor needs to be calibrated. When I print they are all darker so I make them a tad bit bright/light to make up for that loss of brightness on printing.
