I agree that it's a much better composition. It really features the car as a subject and minimizes the distracting background. That said, I'd love to see you do a shoot with this car in the later afternoon on an overcast day in a different setting.

Oh, and if that's with the polarizer, I really think shooting away from high noon is a must, particularly on a day that's so sunny.

The car looks great. The backgroud could use a little work on color boost. You can fix that in a snap on Photoshop.
