Took this with my new sony A-200..I love it

Nice; you've got the centre of focus right on the eye, and the exposure is good. I'm not fussed about the background however; the line and dark/light areas are rather distracting. Additionally, I would try and get down more on "his" level instead of shooting down on him.

I think you cropped a bit to tight on the top. I would have tried to get all of his ear in the shot.

Good focus and looks sharp. Agree with the others that you need to separate him/her (???) from the background either with distance or contrast. Good looking dog. Looking forward to seeing more. - TF
