Picture taken date.

I was wondering if there is a way to find the date a picture was taken? I have some pics I took 14 years ago and I didn't put the dates on them. They have been moved so many times from computer to computer that Im not sure the exif file still has the right date. Thanks!

exif is embedded and date made doesn't change unless it was purposefully edited or exif stripped on purpose.
