I don't think this image works in B&W, it just makes everything appear dead. I would like to see the green grass and blue sky.

No, In the second picture I just adjusted WB to warm it up a little. That's about what it really looked like.

I think you should look into composition. I'm sure once you get an idea your pictures will be instantly better. Or maybe more interesting subjects.

I know I have to learn about composition, but that is not a comment or critique about the picture.

Other people commented about color, and the faces vs rear ends. I think it's valid criticism.

Composition isn't everything, but it's right up there with taking the lens cap off.

I suppose no one actually said "this photo is poorly composed."
