Since the girl wants the lettering, then rotate the pole picture just slightly, so that the pole is straighter and your text lines up with it better.

Im new, but with the lettering i like the idea of another poster that said make it like an engraving in the wood or some how in the bricks, if you or her dont wanna do that, then pick a different font. Cool pics, i wanna learn about angles for portraits myself.
