I would if I could, but I'm not sure there are even Bachelor's degrees for Paralegal. The program at my school offers an Associate's for people who don't have a college degree, and a Certificate for those who already have a Bachelor's. I have a BA and an MEd, plus a couple of teaching certifications, so I did the Certificate. Basically the difference is that I didn't have to do all the other gen ed requirements....like English 101...which I teach

For me, if I wanted to go further in the law, I'd have to go to law school. It's not out of the question to do so, but I'm not going to do it unless it's a free ride and there's definitely a job at the end of it. There are ways to go to law school for free, and if I ever think it's worth it, I'd do it, but right now, law school isn't really part of the plan. The thing I'm investigating now is joining a paralegal association or two and taking their certification tests (there's no one standard test, like how lawyers take the Bar) and add that to the resume.
