I guess right off the bat, I have set myself apart from the common wisdom; I almost always use my own name, except for certain sites that might get me reported to Holder!
Where to start... Well, I'm old, was a partner in Mirage Photography in the early 70's, already an over the top serious amateur student of photography while in the military in CONUS and overseas.
Newspaper photographer in the late 80's, and that as they say, was THAT! Didn't touch a camera for years, and only rarely since.
Now I'm back, and psyched!
I'm here to lurk and learn, though I do post if I have an inq. or really feel the need to contribute.
