Where do I get it and how much is it usually?
I went to Home Depot and for the size I need it was $100.
Is that about right?

The big size! haha
To lay across seamless paper for babies and such.

Looks like a 4x4 usually runs around $60.00 - 65.00?

I have heard of some people using the all white tile board stuff from places like Home Depot also. In images I have seen it is shiny enough to produce reflections. From what I gather it is considerably cheaper as well.

Hope it helps,
Travis

Many people use the white backside of tileboard if they are using white seemless paper. It's much less expensive and doesn't get scratched up as fast.

Tileboard is also not as reflective, which often looks better, as plexiglass.

You could also try industrial suppliers like this:

Plastic Sheets, Plastic Film Stock - Plastics - Raw Materials - Grainger Industrial Supply

Prices might be a little cheaper, though shipping would likely bring it back up, depending on your location. But, you would have infinitely more choices on size, material, ect. And they carry pretty much any material you can think of. Actually looks like they have an outlet near you: 4405 N Palafox St, Pensacola, FL

Might be worth a shot.

hum white tile board?
I will check into that also!
Thanks guys!
and I'll check at the outlet store too!

Acrylic and Plexi-Glass are essentially the same thing. Plexi-Glass is the trade name.... As far as I can recall anyway ;).

Plexiglass is quite expensive but the price depends mainly on the thickenss. The white tile board (Tradename "Barker board") is a good, inexpensive choice as well. Check your yellow pages for an industrial plastics retailer; they have a wide vareity of plastic materials which may be more suited and better priced. Clear polycarbonate, while not as strong, should be considerably cheaper for comparable thicknesses, and in white, sheet ABS has a very reflective surface and might work well.

I went to Home Depot and that is where it was $100.
Someone told me Lowes has 3*5 acrylic (not plexiglass) for 30 dollars, I'm going to check it out.
