Ha! I prepare a couple of her recipes semi-regularly when we have company. I remember seeing her show from that balcony and thinking how nice the view was, but I never put two and two together. Guess I didn't look hard enough in the background, either, for creeper's with telephoto lenses

And that was a nice view you had from your hotel!

Wish the bridge was properly centered and the horizon lined up (which it might be I am looking at this reclined on my phone, but I am pretty sure it is not ) beautoful though. Sounds like a great adventue have fun and take lots of photos.

Sometimes you can't get everything JUST right! There is no horizon to speak of, but the bridge itself is level. I think there is an optical illusion at play with the buildings on either bank of the river..

Yes the ones one the left amy just be further from the edge making the bridge look off center

Thanks Crimbfighter, that is the history I wanted to know! I know the book was set there but did not know if that was the bridge referenced in book.
