Yet another dark gloomy morning. The Ospreys weren't doing much so I dejectedly walked back to my car. All of a sudden good ol' George came flying in to brighten my morning. I had such a blast, but he was being tormented.. D7100 and Nikon 300 f4 af-S (NON-vr) Thanks for looking, comments welcome!

Boy, those last two are just awesome..... :)

As always great series. Incredible, sharp enough to cut glass

A nice collection of interesting stuff. I like the RWB and the jay tormenting him.

My goodness - stunning images.

Great captures! The first one is fantastic.

Really nice set! I like the fact that these are different and interesting. Kept me engaged.

That last one is stunning Kris !!!

These are all terrific. Love the action in the two harassing shots.

Aw, he looks so stressed out in the second one. Jays are such jerks.

Beautiful pictures, all of them.

Nice set. I have one around here like George. The last two times I've been out he's flown to me and landed within 15ft to see what I'm doing.

Thanks, the first was my favorite too.
Great set and very interesting. Seems the whole neighborhood is after him.
For such a crappy morning, it was pretty cool. All of this activity happened within 100 yards of where I first saw George..

Jays and RWBB are pretty mean to hawks. I would love to see a red tail turn the fight around just once.
Wow, in the first shot they look like two aircraft in a dogfight!
I was really lucky to catch this angle ( well sort of lucky) I was set up with a good view of George when the RWBB started buzzing hime..

The last one was 12 feet away so it pretty much filled the frame at 300mm :)

Kris, very nice series, it is always interesting to see the interaction between various different species in the wild. I really like that last one. You have captured some great detail.

As always, I am curious about the lens you used for the capture - Tammy 150-600?
