Poor little guy...

Mother is frantically flying back and forth bringing food to this little baby robin that fell out of the nest. I just grabbed my old Sony floppy disk camera and popped this while it was sprinkling. Actually this was taken in macro mode from only about 8" away. He's only about 6" off the ground- hope the cats around here don't get him!

Very nice shot, especially for the camera used.

Last spring I got a couple of not nearly so nice pictures of the same situation with my old Olympus D-460. I got one shot of the adult robin bringing it a worm which is standard robin fare. Then a about 30 seconds later it brought it something red that I couldn't identify. When I zoomed in on the picture later on my computer I realized Hey, that's one my raspberries! Talk about being caught red handed, I wondered who was stealing them.
