Porsche Boxter 2014

The father-in-law recently picked up the latest boxter, which gave me a chance to take it out for a spin & a little photoshoot.

For me, though, there's something about exotic cars (not that a Boxster is necessarily "exotic") which almost demands color. I don't know why; can't explain it.

Lovely shot. Neat idea to juxtaposition this two vehicles. I really like the plane, its roughness compared to smoothness of the Boxter. Big plus for use of ultrawide lens.

I agree for car you need colour HOWEVER luckily the Boxster is is in white so you get away with it. I also love the smooth car against the rough plane.

I do agree, the only reason i chose to process this as b&w was because its a white car.

Thank you! Somehow I always tend to shoot automotive with the sigma 10-20mm, i just love how it exaggerates the shape of the car. Though it can be overdone if used improperly!

I do agree, the only reason i chose to process this as b&w was because its a white car.

Try it more often, this processing style is very good and fitting the dynamic perspective of very short lens. On this picture actually the plane creates very impressive backdrop for the car thanks to lens distortion. Do you know what type of plane is it ? Can't make it out.

With cars for me I try to make the car the center of attention. And even with being a car guy the plane just makes me forget the car is even in the photo.

plus I enjoy how the car wheels, and the tire marks, makes one think that the car slide sideways into position.

I believe it looks like an Ilyushin IL 76. But I might be wrong
