I have wanted one of these since I was in high school, and the other day I picked one up for 900 dollars!

Just wanted to share some quick photos (or maybe they're snapshots haha), wasn't going for anything special on the shots, just wanted to show it off :mrgreen:

Any comments on the car or the pictures are appreciated.

According to the previous owner, it needs a valve job. That's about 500 dollars in parts. I already started pulling the head off last night to check it out. Bought it from an older man that was a mechanic till he lost most use in his left arm due to an accident. I was originally looking for one of these cars to drop a v8 into, but he already did tons of work to the engine so I think I'm gonna get it running as is and build a v8 on the side and possibly swap it in at a later date.

Well done! I had a 1984 911 Targa, Slate Blue Metallic that I bought when I graduated from college. I also wanted a Porsche since I was a little boy, so that was a great moment for me. When my wife had our first kid, a beautiful baby girl we decided that it would be best for her to stay at home and raise our children. Along with a one income family comes sacrifice, and the 911 went away. My Daughter is now 4 and my son 2. I wouldn't do anything differently, but I will have a 911 again some day!

Enjoy the car.....the 944 is a very well balanced car for the "S" curves.....just watch out for the speeding tickets

Thanks. I already ride a cbr929rr that'll get me into 100mph+ territory real quick haha. It has roughly the same hp as the stock engine on this car lmao. But I'm really excited to get it on the road and hit up the twisties.

I agree about the overexposure. Looked good on the camera but came out but I think the first picture in the top left corner came out kind of blown out.

Don't trust the appearance on screen for exposure etc; I have it set to display three channel histogram next to the pic and use it to judge exposure. Even as snapshots (you're right on that one) it only takes a second.
