Portait for C&C

Hey TPF,

I wonder if you could give me your opinion and recommendations on this portrait.

This is my Aunt and Uncle in their wine cellar. I do see them with a profound sense of sadness, so the mood of this photo works for me.

This was shot in Peru.....so, a reshoot is not possible.....but I wonder if you could give me your thoughts on how to make it better in post.

See if you can lighten the shade side of their faces a little.

Change or mute the color of the blue barrel.

Clone out the bright spots, of which there are several.

This is a wonderful shot, so I can see why you want to take some time with it.

They look tilted back to me.
A bit of shadow highlights tool and a crop to fix some of the tilt and fill in the rest.

They seem to be looking in different directions. He seems to be looking strait ahead of him and she seems to be looking off to her right.

Here's an edit.

Lew, I split the difference with you on the tilt and amount of shadow lightening. Designer, several bright spots removed and both drums desaturated some. Couldn't get rid of the bottle behind his neck....I guess some clutter fits the scene?
