Portait of a baby....any thoughts on this capture?

Eyes are dead black, suggesting some underexposure -- this is an unfortunate thing that happens, and it sucks.

Slight reddish cast, although looking at the hair, that might just be how the kid looks!

Cute pose, cute expression. I generally like the kid. I like the alignment of the foot, too. It's one of those happy accidents, or quick reactions that pays off.

Everything is centered up pretty much spot on, which seems to be to detract from this image a bit. I'm ok with centering stuff when it works, but I think this image could have used a little off centering/rule of thirds business or something to punch it up a little, visually.

I did warm the picture up a bit.....i think i do suffer from being quite poor at the use of editing software, something i definitely need work with...but i do think it is quite a good likeness to the kid (being my nephew-in-law).

I haven't cropped the image at all, this is at full resolution so it is quite difficult change the composure of the shot now...

I agree the eyes are too black, i have other shots of the kid and eyes are pearly blue so this shot obviously doesn't give enough beauty to his eyes....
