Portrait: Alysia. First timer C&C please.

This was for a graduation party I went to and I told her I would try and take a few good shots of her. The only other practice I have had on this was with my kids. LMK what you think. First time shooting on manual only with my 50mm.

Exposure and focus are good, but #1 and #2 have a serious green color cast. Easily fixed in post. 1 and 3 are a little too centered and 2 I think would have worked better with horizontal framing, it's a little too tight framed vertically.

That's what it is, green! Looking at it I see something in the color and it just didn't look right. I don't really have good editing software yet, so not sure how to fix this.
What do you mean to centered? Like, should I have shot her more to the side?

First two shots are too warm. Especially two, the white girl has some jersey shore action going on there. Three is good though. I really like that on and how the light from the phone illuminates her face. cool idea. Also in three you can tell what her skin tone truly looks like. You want to get that color in your other photos. She isnt orange. She is Brown.

Shots like this you want to use the tungsten white balance or maybe incandescent. i usually use tungsten at -2 iso 800 and white balance will come out okay. you could maybe hit these with black and white and they would be nicer. bw is very forgiving.

I did that on my flickr and it can out pretty good. Thanks for the info and help!
