Hey TPF. Been a little busy lately with Senior and prom shoots. Thought I'd share a few that I really like from the last two weeks.

1) Prom was a little wet but we found one spot to stay dry and get an outdoor shot.

2) So most of them were indoor by the fireplace and mantel.

3) Senior portraits all outdoors. I liked this in color but thought the b&w was a little stronger. Probably should have moved him over to get the gate out of his head.

4) There were wild fires out west of us all day and the wind blew the smoke in as were were shooting. Nature gave me a golden hour a little early.

5) Finally figured out how to make use of this art sculpture for a portrait session.

6) I liked this one because I wasn't trying to get that washed out look. This is no action to get it. I was laying down on the ground with my 85mm f/1.8 that doesn't have a lens hood.

I have a few more that I may share later. Still processing another session that I took last night.

Looks good. The sunset reflection is awesome! WOW! I like the prom pics too. I think the young woman and the red art sculpture shot is also a strong portrait.

Very nice! #1 is my favorite, glad you were able to get that nice outdoor shot in. Agreed the background isn't ideal in #2, but it's certainly lit well and still a great memory. #3 is a beautiful senior portrait - I probably wouldn't have noticed the gate coming out of his head if you hadn't mentioned it, but now I can't unsee it. It took less than 30 seconds to clone out though.
