Here is a short portfolio slideshow I put together for youtube. Any critique on choice of pictures, individual pictures, slideshow style, etc. would be great!

The intro slides are really long. There are a lot of out of focus images in there. A lot where the subjects are in the shadows of trees and they're green because of it. Those that aren't green have colors that are all over the place. Some are orange, some are yellow, some are hot pink and there are a few that are pretty good. Many have no light in the eyes. As you get further into it it seems to get better on the eyes. The smiles and personality catches seem really pretty great. I THOUGHT it was a portrait slideshow, but evidently it turns into sports? Keep them separate, or make it a portfolio slide show and not a portrait slideshow.

Is the video embedding correctly in the post? All I see is a blank space. When I just paste as a link, it converts it to a video anyways and still shows blank.

Unfortunately, a lot of these would qualify as snapshots. A snapshot type of portrait is a quick shot of a person, where there is no visual indication that the photographer is aware of all the techniques and methods of quality portraiture, nor how to correct problems and improve portraits in postprocessing.
