Love that second one... have you considered a slight sharpening pass though? It would really make her eyes pop.

The quality of your lighting is amazing. I've been following your work since you've started posting, and the evolving mastery of the lighting is both inspiring and beginning to get intimidating. I'd say you're at a stage where many of us could learn from what you're doing and HOW you are doing it. Of course, having attractive models with good modeling and makup skills is also important, but I am really enjoying how you're pushing the boundaries. I guess you can figure it out that I really like your work. Looking forward to lots more.

Maybe...I am usually guilty of over sharpening so I dialled it back a little. It is better in the large version - this is shrunk to 800px high, and so could do with a little post-sizing sharpen.

Awww, shucks...I'm not really in a position to teach this stuff. I just fiddle with stuff. With these and the other sets with katarina, I was playing with the lights, and with Katarina being a photographer as well as a model, she puts up with that. half the time we have no idea what we are doing, but we get where we want to go eventually.

I have only been photographing models for a couple of months...still very much a trial and improvement scenario when it comes to lighting and studio craft.
