Very nice, this seems also to have a little less noise than some of your shots, what did you do differently?

Thanks Tim - glad you liked it. Just better light and +.3 stop increase in exposure set at iso 200. Everything else as usual. I found for iso 400 +.6 and iso 800 - 1600 a full stop "over" exposure seems to make a lot of difference. It seems my 350D has a noisy sensor according to the experts. Hoping to change up to either 400D or 30D or if I can get round management to a 40D!

I thought you shot film, and that was why they were chunky.

It's a beautiful bird, and the detail is great!
