Mamiya 645 AFD Ektar 100 film. 80mm lens at f2.8. Film was old and was left in the camera for years. This shot was taken a few days ago with it to kill off the roll. My first shot with it.

Lovely skin tones that Ektar is noted for; time has been good to that roll. I just bought my first rolls of this to try in my Mat 124G and/or Rolleiflex T.

Tried my first roll of Ektar100 in my Rolleiflex T. Shots of the Eagle Ironworks furnace, worker family's cabin and the founder Joseph Curtin's family mansion. And my dog Leia enjoying the walk. Of the various 100 ISO films I've tried, I really think the picture quality is the best I've come across.

HP5+ film shot on a Nikon N80. Scanned to digital with Nikon D5300 and40mm macro lens. Inverted with Negative Lab Pro.

I'd shot my first test roll of FlicFilm's new Aurora800 through my AF camera, the Minolta Alpha-9. I wanted to see how it performs in a manual SLR so I chose my Pentax LX, using a Tamron AF 75-300 and a Cosina 28-200; my usual outdoors carry with this camera. If anything, the quality is slightly higher in these.

Took the Nikon 35Ti out for a stroll yesterday with a roll of my new favourite B&W film, Agfa APX (400)

This is my favourite so far but will post a few more later.

Nikon 35Ti, tried using the fake ‘panorama’ setting (which simply chops the top and bottom off the standard 35mm frame to give a pano effect.) Using Agfa APX 400.

Don't remember how long ago I quit shooting film but this could be it ZI suppose! Shot with a Yashica 635 shooting 120 film. Have one I re-did in 2023 with digital.

I'd replaced the old viewfinder screen on my Rolleiflex T with a Rick Oleson Bright Screen(the MP model) and had read some talk about screens needing to be collimated to be in sync with the taking lens. Then again I'd read a lot of posts about people who'd changed screens and saw improvements with no mention of any adjustments. So...I ran a quick roll of Cinestill400D through my T and just received the scans back. Apparently, I'm getting what I'm shooting at with no problems.

I've started using FlicFilm Aurora800 as the regular everyday film in certain of my cameras most of the time; replacing Cinestill400D. I enjoy the added ISO advantage at the same price point. I decided to run a roll through my Pentax PZ-1P which was the first motorized AF film camera I ever bought. Noticed something unusual that I'd seen in my Minolta Alpha-9 also. Even though the film is DX coded, when it auto-loads in either camera the ISO stops at 400. You have to manually change it up to 800. Actually next time I'll shoot it at 400 which should improve the already excellent resolution, but I'll know that and apply it to the processing. Here's a few shots. The lens was the Pentax SMC A 35-105.
