Potentional for a kitty portrait?

I was wondering if this was any good as a kitten portrait? I'm willing tot weak the background or any upon suggestions

sure... you got good focus on the eyes... and he is a cute little guy! I would crop off the left side a bit... but that is all.

It's a little soft around his mouth but his eyes are dead sharp. I like the way he is looking up at something to. I wouldn't tweak the background. Behind him is clean, and if you do anything with whatever that is on the left his whiskers are going to look odd curled under his chin. I'd leave it like it is.

It looks like the softness around the mouth is due to the tiny hairs. I could be wrong, but the nose seems sharp so I'm not sure why the chin wouldn't be.

It's good light, great focus, the background is well controlled... but the composition is messing with my head a bit.... giving me vertigo. I'm not sure if it's flipped 90 degrees or if that pillow is a cushioned wall. For me, the uncertainty of the setting is distracting. If the pillow or whatever that is wasn't there, I think it would be an improvement. It's also bending his right whiskers around which makes me sad.

You're steadily improving. Keep it up.

I liked this photo a lot when you posted it in the Kitty thread

I agree to crop a little off the left, I'd just do enough to make it a perfect square. And maybe a tiny round of unsharp mask? (half a pixel at 25%?)

Love the colors though.
