problem with my speedlite 430ex II, using on xsi

i tried everything, but i can't get the speedite to show the zoon on it's display.. can anyone hep me ???

I believe it only shows the zoom on the display when you manually override the auto zoom setting. Otherwise...it only shows the symbol for autozoom, which looks like a rectangle...if I remember correctly.
