Processing opinion

I revisited a shot from my pinup shoot and tried something different. Anyone like? or is it icky?

I still lost much of her top into the background, could not figure how to bring it out...guess it's just a loss. I did, however, manage...I feel...to make the skin tones somewhat even looking dealing with legs and arms/face.

anywho..here is a recent attempt at creativity.

I practiced a lot of things on this one. Liquify on some unflattering parts to suck 'em in, little bulges on legs/arms. Her teeth were not that flattering and I worked on those a lot. So it was kinda neat to do such adjustments.

Here is a before and after on the teeth. Well, a lot was done before and after, but these are just a couple spots saved along the way, so it's not before and final sort of thing.

Thanks. I think the edited teeth look better in the full version....in the closeups I put up...they stand out as akward because it was midway through processing..but I think in the final version they look good. Or I'm wrong. lol.

Good point! And she is a pin up girl after all! I love it! Did you do any in color?

Yeah I did, they are ok for a first time, but I was not really happy with the processing as it was my first time doing that sort of processing too. So I may revisit them again. I had some in a thread on here..I had to take them down though until the magazine gets released. Some of my shots were identical to the main photog, so I have to wait since his were for submission to the mag.

It looks a little over the top... doesn't look real, so it makes it look more fake than it might if it were processed normally.

I'd love to take a crack at the original if you wouldn't mind putting it up.

I'll put up originals to play with in another week or so...just kinda snuck that one out there for now.
