Hi all,

A local interior design company that my mum works for has asked me to photograph the products that they sell for their website. Now im not sure how I should go about this. I have seen on the forum before people talking about drawing up contracts about the use of the pictures etc, would I have to do this? Also, I have never really done much 'studio' work before, so are their generally any rulings about lighting and stuff? Any tips of guidence would be greatly appriciated!

Thanks in advance,

Ben

Not to rain on your parade, but if you're asking questions on this level about lighting "and stuff", I'm not sure that you're ready to be taking the leap into commercial work. I'd suggest going to your local library and getting some good books on the subject, and then practicing at home before you consider doing it for money. As far as contracts go, your best bet will be to talk to people in your area to find out what needs to/should be in based on UK law.
