I forgot to add ... why.
I like Manfrotto/Bogen products.
I like these particular series of legs ... they are light and strong and can angle/collapse completely (90 degrees).
I like ball heads for the single movement (piviot) point.
You will find other makes ... and other peoples opinion on tripods.
