Well I am ... In the summer I bought a Canon EF-S 55-250mm IS lens and I must be honest I have hardly had time to use it. Then this week I bought a lens I have wanted for ages a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II. Also for the old birthday I recieved a BG-E3.
The 55-250 is an lovely lightwieight bit of kit and I am so pleased I got it. Taken a few shots with this week in the same day I got the 50mm and I am very pleased. I am off to a family event tomorrow and I intend to use it for low light candid photos. My ownly downer on it ... no lens hood with it .. another £11 to get one.
the 50mm is a lovely lens and does exactly whaqt it says on the tin so to speak. At f/1.8 is has a lovely dof and I love it at f/22 too
The BG-E3 is great and mith my hands beign bit it really makes my 350D feel better
Well as I say .. I am quite happy.
