Spent some time shooting the railing today, it does funny things to my eyes

Had to Google MC Escher :blushing: but I recognize his stuff and it has always fascinated me!
I think you are right, I toiled over the crop on this but I do believe you may have solved it!
This is one of those images that I probably should have sat on overnight and looked with fresh eyes.
