Yes, I too, say the first is best and would be a winner with some of the grey cropped off.

And further I want to wail and howl: "I want to be able to do this, tooooooooooo" (and I am not - I don't know how this can be done)

Yeah I agree there is too much blank space in the first.. I wanted to keep some of it though, here's the new one

I just used a high shutter speed to freeze them in motion, and I used the flash too.
