Hi all my fellow photographers.:D

I come from a coaching and business background. One of my key learnings is that every asset (in this case a camera studio).. you buy should turn into a cashcow.
Its important to be aware of as many opportunities to earn money with a camera as possibilities. Since I'm still new to this.. I'm allways seeking new ways to earn money on having a camera.

The big spicy problem is.. I don't know so many ways...!!! So please help me!

Here is a list of cash gain ways (things you do once and get paid once):
  • Take profile photo.
  • Take a commercial photo.
  • Rent out the camera and have another take a photo.
  • Making a review.
  • Filming a instruction video.
  • But there must be more options???? ..can you remember some??
  • Rent out equipment.
Here is a list of cash cow ways (Things you do once and get paid every moth or forever):
  • Take a picture or film some footage for a stock site.
  • Film a instruction video or elearning and sell online on a site.
  • Film a movie, and get percentage per movie sold.
  • Rent camerato a company and get percentage.
What is the most profitable cashcow ways?

..I probalby don't know all of them ? Can you come up with more ways? ..or do you know someone ?

Sorry for my poor english ;)

You can earn small money taking pictures as a self-employed photographer, or you can try to get a job for a magazine or newspaper. But you better know somebody in the business to have a chance. :/

Your camera is not going to be a big cash cow, unless you have a famous name, talent doesn't matter.. Sorry. If that's what you want, try the Lottery instead: Lottery Lottery Lottery!

Diversify:

1. television production
2. script writing
3. media productions
4. political shots for a candidate
5. small business advertising
6. presentations/workshops
7. public relations
8. company internal newspapers
9. small business web sites
10. teaching media courses

talent doesn't matter.. Sorry.

I disagree. If you are talented and very good at what you do, you will be successful.

True, but to recognize talent, one needs to have a certain level of visual literacy and a vey basic understandingl of artistic composition. Much to my surprise it is possible to run into people without these basic visual skills who cannot recognize photographic talent.
