Yeah, I can't really tell what's going on with her right arm, its kind of like an optical illusion when you first look at it. I think the photo could use a little more contrast, the tones of her skin sort of blend with the background tones, I think the darks need to be darker.

Her right arm is close to her torso and is bent at the elbow and wrist in an "who, me?" kind of gesture. The angle of the wrist is also echoing the angle of the crossed leg.
