Hey, thanks for that link! We always fly into Vegas just to rent a car and head north to Utah (Zion, Bryce, all red rock country in between), and we have passed the signs for Valley of Fire a dozen times - but never made the side trip. Very cool. I appreciate the chance to take a peek!

Damian, I feel your pain. Vegas is a unique place in its own right, but we're usually using it as a stop-gap in between red rock ventures. This shot is beautiful and makes me miss it out there. :love:

AND - there is a fabulous little camera store in Vegas...trying to remember exactly where, but I was impressed.

Nice shot. I've never been to Vegas, but I visited Red Rock Mountains in Sedona Arizona a few months ago. It was amazing. The sun hitting that rock created beautiful sunsets.

Glad you all liked it. It was quite the hike to get to the spot I took the picture from (Calico Basin). I go to a drum circle almost every Sunday a bit past red rock. (Oak Creek).
