Red Shouldered Hawk

This hawk was sitting on the observation platform near 441 at Paynes Prairie. He let me get as close as i have ever gotten to one of these hawks. I was as close as 15' before he flew off.

Hey, if the fire department in Beverly Hills still has the nice painting on the side of the building can you take a picture and post it? The last time I was there was about 10 years ago and I misplaced by old film photos of it.
