Red-Shouldered Hawks

Left West Palm Beach Area (Nasty-Nasty Weather) and went back to Lakeland for the night with one quick trip over to the Circle B and an into a few hawks...well, more than a few...
There was one, then two and then three all in the same tree and after that, everywhere I looked there was a hawk hunting or eating a snake..lots of little snakes all over the Heron's Way trail. All shot over a one hour period.

BD, nice set of images - #3 the 3-in-1 is my favourite, with #8 the BIF, a close second. I remember the first one I ever saw of these. It was at Viera and it was eating - you guessed it - a snake.

Not sure what kind of snakes but there were a herd of them everywhere I looked...and I looked very, very carefully.
