My favorite photo-subject, Oslo Opera. Two pictures, one taken with a Canon EF 70-200mm f2.8 L USM and one taken with my Sigma 4.5mm fish-eye. I’m really found of the fish-eye effect, but the sharpness of the Canon can’t be beaten by the Canon lens.

Thank you Bynx :-)

Every time I look at your Opera shots, I want to take some myself! :)

Quick question: dare you go by yourself at night in Oslo to take pics? I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable doing that, especially around Oslo central station and in the smaller streets.

I have no problems walking downtown Oslo at night. There are a couple of streets you need to avoid, but they don't have any interresting motives for nightshots anyway.
You should give it a try. Both the Opera- and Aker Brygge-area are full with interesting motives at night :-)

Well, then I definitely will go in there sometime next semester! I just wish there wouldn't be any building sites behind. Such a beautiful building, in such an ugly city ;) (I don't like Oslo)

those are great, the people on the roofs (?) really give perspective to it's grandeur!

Both images are great but the first one gives me a wonderful sense of "vertigo". Love it! Combining the fish-eye with tasteful HDR is very creative... nicely done on both.
