Replacement for Pentax Optio S4

The zoom action on this camera has started to be a little erratic so I am looking for a replacement.

It must be about the same size, have an optical viewfinder, and not cost a fortune.

Suggestions please.

My suggestion would be to google for point and shoot cameras with a viewfinder. The camera your replacing is pretty old anything is bound to be a huge step up in features, and they make so many types of point and shoot cameras frankly it would be pretty difficult for someone else to narrow down your list of options by just guessing at your likes/dislikes.

Have a feeling the optical viewfinder will be a huge snag, I don't use point and shoot but I doubt there are many inexpensive options that would probably offer something like that as an option.

A Canon G1X in the used or refurbished market should meet the price point.
The Canon G12 or G15 that are now old models should also be around your price point in the used market. All these have optical viewfinders.
