Size is probably the issue.
I use flickr or 100opx on the long edge to upload.

Dont be shy. Use one of the forums in the - Photo Galleries - Photos submitted by members for general display or critique - section of TPF if you want C&C improvement tips on some of the photos you have taken.

For Comments & Critique (C&C) it is best to post just 1 photo at a time in the appropriate Photo Galleries forum.
Image resolution (pixel dimensions) won't be the issue.
The file size is likely the issue.
TIFF, PNG, and JPEG can be uploaded, or just dragged and dropped, to TPF.
Many have their photos online elsewhere and use the Image icon in the text editor to post the URL to their photo(s).
