Nikon announced the new SB-700 flash speedlite on November 26, priced at 44,100 yen (about $551.25). The SB-700 Flash Speedlight from Nikon is an on-camera flash, designed for use with Nikon DSLR cameras that use the i-TTL metering system. It is compatible with DX and FX sensors, and its power zoom head covers a 24-120mm range when used with an FX camera.
As a replacement for SB-600, SB-700 has a guide number 28 (ISO 100 · m), supports wireless control, call back faster, auto zoom range of 24-120mm, lamp holder can be rotated, built-in reflectors and soft board. With any other 35mm camera, you won't get much to work with the SB-700.
