Cool shot, I would have gotten about a 1/3 of the way up on the bails and included barn. Not a big fan of power lines. Nice conversion.

I'm not quite buying into the darkness on the shadow side of the barn, with the sky being rendered so brilliantly white...the dark side of the image appears to be almost equal in tonal value...I think it needs more local contrast in the shadows, so that there's some tonal differentiation. And yeah...those doggone power lines are a very powerful visual distraction. The barn and the Bible verse painted on it though....whoah, pretty cool. Well worth a photo!

Thank you, guys. I know this is not a great photo but still thought that it was strong enough to share. As usual, I don't agree with the comments regarding the power lines – in my opinion, here they are part of the background and are not distracting at all (unless your monitor is too bright, in which case I'd agree).Derrel's comments about contrast in the shadows and tonal value are spot on... but I don't believe this image is good enough to merit a re-work so it stays as is. (Call me lazy and you'd be right.)
