I drove across Norway on a holiday, but only got the chance to take a few shots. Here are some of Røldal, Etne municipality. Beautiful place.

Beautiful place!

But the images look overprocessed to my eyes. Too candy colours fo my taste, and I do like candy colours sometimes (I am even a fan of Fuji Velvia for landscape) .. but these seem overdone.

I would suggest minus 20% saturation in post

Beautiful place!
I think the second one has the strongest composition. I do not personally mind the saturation, but I might drag the blue back just a bit to see what it looked like as there is quite a bit of it between the sky, lake, and mountains (I think I see a haze there).

Very nice, reminds me of when we had a hyte and sat outside for a barbi above the Sognefjord but only had my point and shoot

Thanks a lot, Gary! The Sognefjord is lovely. Norway's longest and deepest (and probably has some international record as well). Is that taken from the road? Or from a hike?

(maybe your post said so, but you used a few weird words I haven't seen before )
