Clicking on the attached thumbnail, I can see that the line isn't there.
Not sure why the posted photo is framed the way it is with that line seemingly within the frame of the photo when apparently it is not.

Strange.

That looks like a watermark to me too. Can't say I think that really brings much to the photo, but other than that I really like that shot

The "line" is a watermark indeed.
I understand it could be pretty annoying to look at, but it's there for a reason unfortunately.

I like the photo - but I don't see how your watermark could be very effective. Too easy to crop off or clone out where it is - it would take less than 5 seconds to get rid of it.
