Rotating tripod head?

I want to do some time lapse stuff while camera rotates?
Anyone know what brands sell these or the name of this?

I have the gigapan epic 100 so I can't test it out for yah... but it looks promising.

Are you trying to track the motions of stars -- or just pan the head electrically?

Some star tracking heads (which normally rotate at "sidereal" speed (the angular speed at which the Earth rotates on it's axis) but some of these can be set to higher speeds. E.g. a Losmandy StarLapse can be set to rotate at up to 240 degrees per hour. For a "tracking" head, it's the most versatile (the others usually only have a few speeds).

And of course there's the above-mentioned Gigapan heads.

Pretty much just using it for filming landscapes. Ive found some online but mostly have a low weight restriction. Egg timer works for go pro since its light but not sure if it could hold my dslr with the 24mm which is quite heavy. I will check out the gigapan head though thanks!

I don't know about time lapse stuff but I use the Induro GHB2 Gimbal Head to hold my 800mm & 5D Mark III
