Aircraft parts for assembly arrived at Toronto this morning aboard a Russian Antonov AN-124 transport, one of the largest aircraft in the world. These flights have become fairly regular at YYZ and a few days ago I was tipped about the morning arrival.

On short final

Right after touch down it was a race to the infield for taxi shots.

Now that is a wheel chalk. The 124 has an impressive 24 wheels

Great shots! The Russians sure know how to build a big friggin' cargo plane, don't they? :D
 
Great shots, really like them :thumbup: like the first two best.
I think I saw one of those planes the airshow was last on.
 
Goodness, there are a lot of wheels on that thing, aren't there? Interesting series.
 
ahh the little AN124 its what every yak52 wants to be when they grow up LOL
