... new cold war ? Leica products are german - and thus unrussian ?!?

That's gonna be interesting, if true its another player in the market and that's always good.
Will it go mirrorless or DSLR ?
Will it make its own sensors ?
What sensor size will it have ?

I still have an old mint Zenith with 58mm and 300mm prime lenses and rifle butt that makes the camera with the 300mm prime lens look like a bazooka launcher

Don't see in the article where it will be digital at all. You would think so, but then considering where it is being manufactured it may not be. I did enjoy the statement: This is a very high demand product, we want to make it a luxury device, by analogy with the Leica.

That will be interesting to see if they can accomplish that little feat.
