Great job getting that pose and facial expression. I like the tight crop and the angle. I agree that perhaps a more shallow depth of field would have made the background seem a bit less cluttered, and the white "T" on the top of his head/face is a bit blown out. They don't ruin the shot, but just little things to think of for the next shot.

I'd get in there a little tighter. I think you can make your point and still give ol' longface there more real estate.I also breathed on the brightness and contrast buttons a tiny bit.

Nice camera you have, BTW. I've been looking at those superzoom bridge cameras and wondering if I didn't miss the boat when I went with a DSLR. If I had your sony I'd be outside right now trying to get a shot of the moon with the clouds partially obscuring it.

Seriously, your camera outperforms mine in every respect, at least on paper, and you paid less than half. You ever feel both angry and sad at the same time?
