Safe Grey Market?

Is there a way to safely purchase a grey market Canon body (40D perhaps)? I know that I won't get a warranty, that's not really a concern for me.

Yes. Go to BHPhoto or Adorama and see if they have any. If not - then no. Generally though (for bodies especially) the cost difference isn't really worth it. Why not buy a refurbished 40D instead?

Thanks for the info. I'd love a refurbished or even a used 40D. Other than ebay and Amazon, any good places to look for one?

I've checekd out Adorama's used lens department as well and I think they have a pretty nice selection. I was wondering if there is any way I can buy accidental insurance for used cameras/lenses. One of the main reasons why I'd like to buy NEW from B+H is because of their full accidental insurance coverage from sagemax (around 180 for a 40D/50D + lens) and that covers water damage, dropping the camera etc. Thanks for your help!
