Thank you, There were actually a lot of people fishing. Didn't see too many catching though.

You got that right. Some of the best spots are at the edge of fast moving water because that's where food is either carried or moves through for waiting predator fish to have their way with. The saltwater fish down here feed along the current at low and high tide for the same reason, better food source.
