The whites are white, even inn the original. The only placard showing is white and the white candies to it's left are white. As for shooting it straight on, I would disagree, but maybe he did shoot it that way.

If you're talking about the candy bins, it couldn't be shot straight on from what I was attempting to do...which was get more than one bin in the picture... There is only a 4' aisle. The candy makers and machines are stationed in the middle of the room.
