What's the job description?????
There are a few different jobs that may be available. None of them involve photography, other than as a peripheral part of the job for documentation purposes as needed.
I find it's best to assess a person's actual work experience, accomplishments and education from their resume as they see themselves without too many clues on what I'm looking for, rather than have them put one together that they think I'll like.
Nonetheless, here are the clues relevant to the available jobs: I'm a telecommunications construction engineering manager and we build fiber optic networks that range in size from the area of small towns to the area of multiple large counties. We do make-ready survey of existing utilities, GPS location data collection, record laser measurements, make maps, work with databases, plan and track progress, verify fiber optic design for constructibility, and interact closely with clients and the public on a daily basis to inform and educate.
We move around a lot, from job to job, so it's a life on the road, living in motel rooms for the most part, and often using them as a base of operations as well. Most of our work is in the US, but not all, so a valid passport is a plus. For most positions, driving is a must, so a valid drivers license with a driving record that's very clean is a must. Random drug screens should be expected. Background checks are done, so a clean police record is a must.
